We started the morning with a surprise quiz about our first site visits! Everyone seemed to have retained the material well, and scores were high.
Next we had a lecture with DCC contract manager, Ian Harper. We learned about how the different construction management positions fit into the overall structure of a project. Following the lecture, we were given another quiz, this time on construction drawings. The quiz tested us on the drawings depending on the different phases of construction, as well as being able to extract information from those drawings to determine things such as materials and dimensions.
For lunch we had spaghetti and carrot cake for dessert. It was good! Grant even finished in under 5 minutes.

After we had our lunch, we headed over to GTC Laboratory, which is a geotechnical testing laboratory. We were given a presentation on the different types of tests that are performed, as well as the benefits and capacity of advanced laboratory testing.

Lastly, we went to basketball practice again. Mr. Abdallah's team remains undefeated in practice.
